How to Use O.R. Reset™
Structure is what makes this work.
O.R. Reset™ is pre-measured by design. Each tablet is consistent so there is nothing to estimate, adjust, or improvise. The structure is built in — your job is simply to commit to it.
Before You Begin
O.R. Reset™ is intended for short-term, intentional use within a defined window. It is not designed for ongoing or indefinite use.
Read this page in full before you start. Understanding the structure beforehand consistently produces a better experience than starting without a plan.
A few things that tend to matter:
Choose a specific start date.
A three-day weekend or a period with lighter demands is ideal. Having a defined beginning supports consistency.
Hydration matters more than most people expect.
Drink more water than you think you need — especially around meals and doses. Focus your hydration around eating rather than on an empty stomach.
Food with some fat content helps.
Taking O.R. Reset™ with a small amount of food that contains fat supports absorption. It doesn't need to be a full meal.
Have a plan for Day 1.
Know what you'll eat, where you'll be, and who you'll be with. Having decisions made in advance removes friction on your most important day.
If you have questions about whether O.R. Reset™ is appropriate for your situation, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
The Structured Use Window
Day 0 — The Night Before
The goal of Day 0 is simple: arrive at Day 1 rested and on schedule.
If you normally take nothing before bed and simply wake up when you need your next dose, consider taking a quarter tablet of your current substance before bed tonight. This is not about feeling good — it's about not being woken up at 4am craving a dose before Day 1 has even started. Starting your most important day early and off-schedule is harder than starting it rested and intentional.
If you already take a half tablet most nights just to sleep through, do that. Don't try to be strong and taper below your normal night dose on Day 0 — save that discipline for Day 1 itself.
Day 1 — The Hand-Off
Day 1 is the only genuinely hard day. It will be harder than any day that follows. It will also be significantly more manageable than most people expect going in — provided you commit to the structure completely.
Think of it like a relay race. For the hand-off to work, one runner has to fully release the baton before the other can accelerate. If both hold on at the same time, neither moves efficiently. The hand-off only works when it's clean and committed.
On the morning of Day 1, take 3 tablets with food. Hydrate well.
About two hours later, assess how you feel. If things feel stable and improving, stay the course. If you feel like you're sliding backward, take 2 more tablets — again with food.
For the rest of Day 1, check in with yourself every few hours. Take 1 additional tablet if you don't feel comfortably stable. The goal is steadiness, not sedation.
Before bed on Day 1, if it has been more than a few hours since your last O.R. Reset™ tablet, take a quarter to a full tablet depending on how long it has been. The longer since your last dose, the closer to a full tablet. From Day 4 onward, your before-bed dose should be no more than a quarter to a half tablet.
On the overlap question: Some people feel tempted on Day 1 to return to their previous substance alongside O.R. Reset™, believing they can taper one while beginning the other. Based on consistent experience from people who have gone through this process, this tends to interfere with the hand-off and undermines the structure that makes O.R. Reset™ effective. The overlap delays the reset rather than easing it. Commit to the clean start. Trust the structure.
Day 2 — The Turn
Most people who reach Day 2 having committed to the structure report that they knew by that morning that the hardest part was behind them.
When you wake up on Day 2, if you feel good, take 1 tablet. If you feel uncertain or a little off, take 2 to 3 tablets as your first dose. Hydrate. Continue checking in every 3 to 6 hours and take 1 to 2 tablets as needed.
Movement helps significantly on Day 2 and Day 3. This tends to surprise people — but many find these days are when they feel most motivated to be active and productive. That is part of the process. Lean into it.
Days 3 Through 10 — The Taper
From Day 3 onward, the goal is to taper O.R. Reset™ as gradually and spread out as possible while remaining comfortable.
Take the smallest dose that keeps you feeling stable. Extend the time between doses as much as feels manageable. The direction is always toward less — smaller amounts, longer gaps, fewer tablets per day.
Do not stop O.R. Reset™ completely before Day 10, even if you feel excellent and believe you no longer need it. Even half a tablet a day through the end of the defined window serves an important structural purpose. Stopping too early — even when feeling great — can result in the tail end of the process catching up with you. Finish the window.
What to Expect Along the Way
Individual experiences vary. O.R. Reset™ does not promise specific outcomes and results are not guaranteed.
What many people describe is not a high, not sedation, and not euphoria. The more common description is something closer to a return to baseline — a good, clear, functional day that doesn't feel dramatic. Some people describe it as feeling like themselves again.
That is the design intent. Structure and consistency, not intensity.
If You're Doing This With Someone
Having a partner going through the same process at the same time adds a layer of accountability that tends to improve outcomes. You won't want to let each other down. Make plans to get out of the house during Days 2 and 3 — a park, a walk, anywhere that involves movement and a change of environment. Having something to do together is more useful than you might expect.
